A bilinguil identity for a fashion film exhibiton, one that is flexible enough in it's design to travel around the world at different galleries/venues.
Our concept was firstly to create a logo that would appeal to the wide audience targeted for the exhibition. We used the mannequin for the universal connotations, and the abbreviated typography to attract a younger market - one that is interested in design and fashion, and to also reflect the fast paced content of the work. Our primary theme is 'explosions of colour', an idea formed after watching copious amounts of monochromatic work of the filmakers in the exhibition, with sporadic bursts of colour here and there. We designed our own custom patterns to represent this vibrancy. All patterns are manipulated edits of some of the work of the artists and filmmakers in the exhibition.
